Tensile strength: The tensile properties of cast aluminum at elevated temperatures depend on the heat treatment of the castings and the duration at the elevated temperature

Common aluminum alloys
A360: This alloy is known for its corrosion resistance, strength at high temperatures, and ductility. It’s also known for being fluid and pressure tight.
A380: This alloy is lightweight, resistant to corrosion and hot cracking, and has high strength at high temperatures. It’s often used in tools, electronics, and automotive engines.
A356: This alloy is the most common material used in aluminum gravity casting. Heat treatment can improve its strength.
